How to add a user and assign a role-play

Adding users to PitchMonster lets you assign role-plays and get your team into training quickly. There are two ways to invite users: by email or by a shared invite link.

After a user joins, they can create their account and access the role-plays assigned to them.

Invite Methods

PitchMonster supports two ways to add users to a role-play:

A. Invite by Email

This is the most controlled option and is best for inviting individual users.

Steps

1. Click the Role-plays icon in the left-hand menu.

2. Select the role-play you want to assign.

3. Click Assign a role-play in the top-right corner.

B. Invite by Link

This option is recommended when you want to invite multiple users to the same role-play.

Steps

1. Navigate to the Role-plays icon in the left-hand menu.

2. Select the role-play you want to assign.

3. Click Assign a role-play in the top-right corner.

4. Click Share public link and copy the link.

5. Share the link with your users.

After accepting the invite, the user appears in your users list under User Management > Users.

They can then complete account setup and access the assigned role-play.

First-Time User Flow

When a new user is added to PitchMonster, their experience usually looks like this:

Step 1: Receive an Invite

The user receives either:

  • an email invitation, or
  • a shared invite link

Step 2: Accept the Invite

The user clicks the link and is redirected to the PitchMonster Teams login page.

Step 3: Set Up Their Account

The user:

  • enters the email address where they received the invitation
  • creates a password
  • adds their first and last name

After setup is complete, they can access the role-plays assigned to them.
